Healthy Brioche Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons natural honey
- 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil or coconut oil)
- 1/2 cup yogurt or warm milk
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- A pinch of salt
- Vanilla (optional)
- Sesame seeds for topping
Instructions:
- Mix yogurt or warm milk with yeast and honey, then let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add the eggs, oil, and vanilla (if using), and stir well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, kneading until a soft and smooth dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for about an hour until it doubles in size.
- Divide the dough into small balls, shape them, and let them rest for 10–15 minutes.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden and fluffy inside.
