Rustic No-Knead Rosemary Garlic Bread (Gluten-Free)

This rustic, gluten-free rosemary garlic bread is perfect for anyone craving fresh, aromatic bread without the need for kneading. With the combination of rosemary, garlic, and a golden, crispy crust, it’s the perfect complement to any meal. Best of all, it’s effortless to make!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal (for dusting)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, salt, sugar, and active dry yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the flour mixture and stir until combined. Add minced garlic and rosemary and stir again.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp towel or plastic wrap, and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a baking dish or Dutch oven in the oven while it heats up.
  5. Dust your work surface with cornmeal and turn the dough out onto it. Shape the dough into a rustic round loaf.
  6. Carefully remove the heated baking dish from the oven, place the dough inside, and cover with a lid.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let the bread cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh rosemary, and enjoy your rustic rosemary garlic bread!
