1 lb (450g) ground beef
4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 small onion, diced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
Β½ cup milk
Salt & black pepper to taste
(Optional: garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor)

1️⃣ Preheat
Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
2️⃣ Cook the Beef
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned.
Drain excess grease. Season with salt and pepper.
3️⃣ Make the Creamy Mix
In a bowl, mix:
Cream of mushroom soup
Milk
Stir until smooth.
4️⃣ Layer the Casserole
In a greased baking dish:
Layer half the sliced potatoes
Add half the beef mixture
Pour some soup mixture
Sprinkle cheese
Repeat layers
Finish with a generous layer of cheese on top.
5️⃣ Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
